Since 2015 Chamos has donated a variety of medical equipment and infrastructure to the Hospital de Niños de Valencia as part of our health programs in order to alleviate the crisis in the health sector in Venezuela.
Since 2016, we have collaborated with the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital JM de los Ríos with the purchase of vital medicines for children hospitalized there. Given the humanitarian crisis, many of these medicines are no longer available in the country, and help like ours is essential for the survival of many children.
In collaboration with the Walkabout Foundation, a London-based NGO that helps people affected by paralysis and reduced mobility, we have been able to donate 115 paediatric wheelchairs for children with reduced mobility in Venezuela. These chairs were distributed through the Venezuelan Paralysis Foundation FundaProcura, thus transforming the lives of children with disabilities in Venezuela.
