We are over halfway to our goal of raising $12,000 to provide our partners with urgently needed WASH infrastructure.
In May, with rates of COVID-19 at an all-time high in Venezuela, we launched our urgent WASH appeal. We were overwhelmed by the response, which enabled us to raise over $7,400 - enough to provide 11 soup kitchens with water tanks, filters, and a 3 month supply of masks and antibacterial gel.
Our donation will enable these centres to safely continue their programmes, feeding 880 vulnerable children every day during what continues to be an extremely challenging time in Venezuela.
