In collaboration with our local partner, Proyecto Mayu, we carried out two healthcare trips to the La Marroquina community of Yaracuy, Venezuela - first in March and a follow-up visit in November.
During these trips, we conducted a total of 2,471 medical and dental consultations which included specialist treatment such as psychiatry, ophthalmology, pediatric health, internal medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics.
Regular trips to the La Marroquina community has been essential for a more comprehensive health follow-up, and we have seen notable improvements in the overall well-being of community members.
In addition to medical care, we successfully implemented our clean water programme, providing 53 water filters to benefit multiple families, ensuring continuous access to purified water in their homes.Â
